English lessons for Guti equals Premiership move

Real Madrid vice-captain Guti is taking English lessons ahead of a battle between Manchester United and City for his signature in January, reports Spanish newspaper AS.

The Spain international has been frozen out at the Bernabeu after a furious row with coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Madrid are asking £4million for the 33-year-old, but reports in Spain say United and City are both keen to add his experience to their midfield.

For the last few weeks, an English tutor has been visiting Guti's home, says the paper.
