Endo confident Gamba Osaka will be Japanese champions

Gamba Osaka star Yasuhito Endo is confident the club will be J-League champions this season.

The Japan international midfielder, who scored the winner for Gamba against Urawa Reds on the weekend, says the squad is remaining positive despite sitting eighth on the league table, nine points behind leaders Kashima Antlers.

"We conceded a goal first, so it was a tough game. I'm glad we came from behind to win with a team effort," Endo said.

"We still have many things to work on, but we continue to believe that we'll be the champions in the end."
