Brazil coach Dunga has overlooked fallen AC Milan star Ronaldinho for his squad to face Bolivia and Venezuela in upcoming internationals.

Dunga said: “He is a great champion. He has exceptional qualities. We have to help him by not publishing negative stories about him in this moment.

“I am not asking you to stop criticising Ronaldinho, but you cannot invent stories,” Dunga said, referring to claims that Ronie was considering retirement.

“We need to show him some respect and leave him be until he returns to being the player that everyone knows he can be.”
