Donadel: Fiorentina tried to sell me over summer

Marco Donadel admits he was put up for sale by Fiorentina last summer.

The midfielder, however, insists he only wants to play for the Viola this season.

"This summer, (sports director Pantaleo) Corvino put me on the market and we received some offers, but I have told my attorney not to consider any of them," said Donadel.

"I'm happy here and want to convince Fiorentina to renew my contract, otherwise we part in June. I think my story is not finished in Florence, I still have much to give."
