Di Matteo hopes Hargreaves makes Man Utd comeback against West Brom
West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo would love to see Owen Hargreaves make his Manchester United comeback tomorrow.
Reports suggest Hargreaves could return from his two-year injury hell to play a part for United against the Baggies.
And Di Matteo, whose last competitive domestic game before a career-ending injury at the age of 31 was a 3-3 draw for Chelsea at Old Trafford, has wished the England international well.
"He's been out for a long time but you've got to have hope," he told the WBA website.
"You don't want to see anybody end their career through injury. It's a short career as it is so you don't want anyone to be forced to quit early.
"I had a lot of complications.
"I suffered a triple fracture of my leg and then the nightmare started. Every morning I get up I am reminded by my leg that I had an injury - that's life!"
