Derby boss Nigel Clough is hoping to re-sign Everton striker James Vaughan on loan in January following his recovery from injury.
The 21-year-old had his initial loan deal cut short because of a knee injury he sustained soon after his arrival at Pride Park in mid-September.
Clough told the Derby Telegraph: "We hope to get him down at some point for a training session with us, so he doesn't come in cold in January."
