Aidan Davison is joining the Hull City backroom staff.
The Mirror says Hull boss Phil Brown and Davison, 41, were close friends at Bolton during their playing careers and the Tigers boss has renewed their alliance by appointing him as the club's new reserve team manager.
Former Northern Ireland keeper Davison comes in to replace Trevor Morgan, who left the club yesterday after a season in charge of the second team.
