Croatia coach Bilic proud of relationship with English fans

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic is proud that he is admired so much by English fans.

The former West Ham and Everton defender said: "Perhaps that is how an English audience expects their coaches to be. They want somebody who lives through the emotion just as they do in the stands or in front of their TV.

"Now we must get a victory or at least a point at Wembley to have a chance of reaching South Africa.

"There is pressure. So forget the Wally with the Brolly, maybe if we lose this game the headlines in my own country will be: 'Who's the tw*t with the beanie hat'?"
