Crewe and Chelsea agree keeper loan deal until end of season
Crewe and Chelsea have agreed to extend the loan of stopper Rhys Taylor until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old joined the League Two club on an initial two-month deal as cover for Steve Phillips, who is recovering from shoulder surgery. That deal was due to expire on Wednesday.
Alex boss Dario Gradi told the club's official website: "Chelsea have been tracking him and they are pleased with him and pleased with us.
"He is happy here, he has done well, he is very quick and he keeps the ball out of the net."
Taylor added: "My plan was just to get through it and play and do as well as I could and I think the manager now knows that I can do alright in this league.
"I have played more games in this month than all of last season and maybe two seasons, so it is good for me to be playing."
