West Ham's Etherington bang in form after hitting "rock bottom"

West Ham winger Matthew Etherington says that he has overcome the gambling problems that affected his form last season.

"I did hit rock bottom last season," the midfield player told The Times. "I wasn't happy and didn't play anywhere near my best."
