Stockport sign Bolton winger Thompson

Stockport County have swooped to sign teenage Bolton winger Leslie Thompson.

The 19-year-old, who is yet to make a senior appearance for Bolton, has joined the Hatters on a month's loan.

"Leslie will give us a different dimension up front while Anthony Pilkington and David Poole recover," boss Jim Gannon told County's website.

"We hope to give Leslie the League experience that so many Premier League and Championship players have had at this club over the past 18 months."
