Stankovic: Inter Milan and Juventus players respect each other
Inter Milan's Serbian international Dejan Stankovic is looking forward to the clash against Juventus, a club he was closely linked to in the off-season.
The arrival of Jose Mourinho had put Stankovic's position in the side in doubt, leading to off-season speculation linking him with a move to Juventus.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Stankovic said: “I'm really happy now and I know that you can always earn a place in the team by working hard in training and listening to the Coach.
“If I play on Saturday then I will just be thinking about Inter and doing well for the Nerazzurri, as that is my job.
“There is always a rivalry with Juventus but there is the upmost respect between the players.
“It's 11 against 11 and they have a great team, but there's always one player who makes a difference.
“The Bianconeri can be a frustrating side to play against and they will fight to the end. It will be a good game.”
