Fiorentina are stepping up their bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso.
The Viola had a scout posted to see Veloso in action on the weekend against Leixoes.
Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino also had a scout in the stands for Sporting's clash with Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this month.
