Ferdinand full of praise for West Ham youngters

West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand says fans can be excited about the current crop of youngsters coming through the academy system.

England Under-19 stars Freddie Sears and James Tomkins burst on to the scene last season.

And Ferdinand says: "They are great examples of the quality youngsters we have at West Ham. But there are a few others in the shadows waiting to be unleashed. We've got some of the best young talent around and that's all to do with the way West Ham groom young talent for the first team."
