De Ridder backing Birmingham to survive

Daniel De Ridder says Birmingham City can finish mid-table this season.

He told the club's official website: "We have certainly got the squad to compete in the Premier League. If we just stay up it will be very good but with the quality we have got we should be able to finish 11th or 12th. I don't think that is unrealistic.

"I think that we have got a lot of good players in every part of the field. There is a good balance between the physical players and technical players."
