I love the comments on here sometimes......they are just laughable when Fergie is the subject (even from some United fans). This guy has been THE most driven, single-minded and determined individual that football has EVER seen. He´s made mistakes, he should have won the European Cup many more times, he´s NOT the most tactically gifted manager but can anyone (without the obvious haters) SERIOUSLY name a more devoted and gritty individual in football who is STILL the same in his late 60´s??? He will go out at the same time Neville, Giggs and Scholes go out. It will signal the end of an era and the next man in will have an ALMIGHTY job to do. If there are any United fans on here OLD enough to remember when Fergie came to Old Trafford then they will realise that United were in disarray and struggling to get out of the shadows of Busby. This guy came in, took a lengthy time to sort the club out from top to bottom and proceeded to build a massive corporation with HUGE amounts of success ON and OFF the field. He knows his time is coming and will make sure he does what is right FOR THE CLUB. He loves the club so much that don´t be surprised if, when he retires from management, that indeed HE will buy the club with backers. At least the club will be run the correct way. You should be thanking Fergie for what he has done for your club.......NOT criticising him!! Always remember that!!
