This move makes no sense. Chelsea has made great buys in the midfield and indeed needs to sell some players; benayoun, malouda, miereles and loan out lukaku, Josh, kakuta. Mow for Torres, let's be blunt, the man shrank and wilted in the face of a challenge from a 33year old striker at Chelsea and could not dislodge him. And now Chelsea wants to use the same player who has not "found his form" in over two years as their main striker and hope to challenge for the title? Man city has 5 bonifide strikers, man u has just added moura today and RVP is on the way, modric stays and spurs and they have added striking power. Seems to me cfc will be fighting for 4th place against Newcastle and arsenal. Is that what this spending spree was supposed to get? Really? Time for a reality check in the cfc boardroom before it crashes through the door. Cfc is good on the left of the pitch but it is awful on the right both front and back you have only a very short time to address this. The curtain rises for competition in days.
