i hate the way wenger is running the club at the moment. but the beauty of it is that, even if they are not in the UCL next year, they will always be around the top, unlike teams like Leeds and Everton, who come close and when they miss they just falter.
a club like this will always be near the top but never champs cos they always will be producing new young players. now these players may not be good enough to become the next messi or Ronaldo, but they will be good enought to help the club survive these situation. they are cheap to hold on to. i can foresee Arsenal out lasting chelsea and liverpool if they can continue like this for many more years. but the price is ... no titles. at least no major ones anyway ... its a very safe way to run the club to be honest. and of course you must have the skills to train new players as well .. some thing you don't see at liverpool or chelsea.
