Players are tired bla bla bla, don`t know what other posters on here do for a living? I have worked on building sites, five, sometimes 6 days a week, football training on a Tuesday evening for 1 1/2hr an eleven a side 1hr match on Thursday, full match on Saturday, (work permitting) and a full match Sunday afternoon. Oh yeah, and managed to fit a two hour session in the gym Mon or Wed after work.

These are professional athletes, paid an unbelievable amount of money to play football at top level at our beloved chosen club, of which most on here would gladly sacrifice there right leg to do.

To win games, you have to field your best, we have to treat the EPL as an equal to the CL and play the best that is on offer due to injury etc etc. Deal with loss of players through injury/fatigue when and if it occurs, use the domestic cups as our breeding ground for 2nd string and our young promising.

Aussie Spur: Can`t believe you left Ekotto out at LB, Bale is the correct balance from RW/LW, Bale at LB disrupts the balance and takes the edge out of our attack. Agree with Palacios, been very woeful of late, look forward to the arrival of Sandro, can`t wait to see what he has to offer?

Credit where it`s due, Wigan came with a game plan and stuck to it, they grafted and closed us down and looked for the break, not the first time it has been done to us, and it wont be the last, we wont be the only top club that have a bad day against the likes of Wigan.

The future is bright, the future is lilywhite!

COYS!
