Cole wants Chelsea fans to reserve Ancelotti judgment until after FA Cup

Joe Cole says Chelsea fans should reserve judgment on manager Carlo Ancelotti until the end of the season.

Ancelotti is close to eclipsing Jose Mourinho, who did not win the Double in his first year at Stamford Bridge.

But Cole said: “Carlo and Jose are both very different characters but I feel they’re both very good tactically – although Carlo is a lot more laid back.

“Carlo’s experience in Italy has made us a solid unit - he’s doing a great job. But we can only judge how we have done after the Cup Final. That’s when we can say how well we have done.”
