Chelsea, Spurs target Srna would dive to beat England
Darijo Srna says he's ready to dive if it wins Croatia their World Cup qualifier against England this week.
Skipper Srna, a Chelsea and Spurs target last month, has now made the shock admission he would commit a deliberate professional foul on an England player in Wednesday's World Cup Group Six qualifier if the situation demanded.
The right-back or winger, 27, captain of Shakhtar Donetsk, said: "Against Ukraine in June, I received a yellow card. Last season, I made 12 appearances in the UEFA Cup and earned only two cards.
"But I will not escape from cards if it is the only way out of critical situations.
"If in the 90th minute, a rival was going unattended at our goalkeeper, he can be toppled even if I am later punished with a five-match ban."
