Chelsea skipper Terry to skip Cup tie for Dubai dash

Chelsea captain John Terry will head off for crisis talks with wife Toni in Dubai after his match against Everton tomorrow night.

The Chelsea skipper had toyed with the idea of hiring a private jet to avoid unwanted public attention, says the Mirror.

A Chelsea insider added: “The only way he will not make the trip is if either Alex or Carvalho, the other centre backs, get injured against Everton.

“Then JT promised he would stay and play on because he does not want to let the side down.”
