Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Sun, 04/25/2010 - 08:42
Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole believes he is entering the peak years of his career.
Cole, 28, is a free agent at the end of the season and he has yet to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge, with title rivals Manchester United said to be watching developments with interest.
He said: “I’m happy at Chelsea — my main concern is just winning games.
“I can’t wait to see what happens [regarding the contract talks] but I just need to keep on playing well.
“My best years are going to be my next four years. I don’t rely on pace — I keep myself fit and look after myself so these next few years will be my best.”
