Chelsea offer Terry time-out to deal with private life
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to allow John Terry some time off to deal with much-publicised matters in his private life.
Headlines have provided saturation coverage of Terry's alleged affair with the ex-girlfriend of England team-mate Wayne Bridge and it has been rumoured that further revelations are imminent.
There has been speculation that Terry will be allowed by Ancelotti to miss the FA Cup clash with Cardiff on 13th February to address matters in his private life, which would include spending Valentine's Day with his wife.
Ancelotti said after Chelsea's draw at Hull: "If he needs a holiday I will give him a holiday. If he doesn't need a holiday then he will play against Cardiff.
"It is an issue for me and John Terry, it is not your problem I think."

Ex Girlfriend of Wayne Bridge and many others too it appears. Just proves she is a money-grabbing filthy sl*t who is either employed by the dirty French to scupper England’s World Cup bid, or Max Clifford, who seems to make a habbit out of this as well as a bloomin good living!
Give JT as much time off as he likes. We have Ricky and Alex who can both do a damn good job in defence.
Personally I think JT’s conduct should not affect his captaincy, just as Beckham’s was not affected with the Rebecca Loos allegations or the Sven Goran Ericcson string of affairs (lucky bu*ger) that did not persuade the FA to part company with him, probably because David Davis was also subject to a sexual predator from within the organisation so papers would have us believe. This woman should have gone to specsavers eh? Gerrard, Ferdinand and Roooooooney are all unreliable as they have also been in trouble both on and off the pitch too. Remember Rooney getting sent of against Portugal? He cannot control his temper. He also messed around, with a prostitute who could have been his grandmother she was so old.
Anyhow…. Punishment will be dealt out by Mrs JT who is sunning herself in Dubai as we speak, armed with JT’s credit card no doubt and trying to put some ooomph back into their flagging economy! It is not down to anyone else to say if he is right or wrong to continue as Captain of the England team. I hope Fabio realises this too and leaves things as they are. You have to remember what is at stake here.
Ever since he gave JT the Captain’s armband, the anti Chelsea brigade, including a lot of the press and those jeallous of Chelsea’s wealth, have been at him, even having a go at his dear old mum for lifting a tin of dog food (never proven chum!).
At the end of the day, JT is the best Captain we have as well as the best centre half in the world, let alone England. If the press and the anti Chelsea brigade carry on this ridiculous witch hunt, then God protect them if we lose Terry, and the World Cup chances we have (which are pretty good this time around) as there will be a lot of people baying for their blood.
Shame on you if you boo JT. Just shows you are no better than he.
