Chelsea No2 Ray Wilkins insists they have confidence in stand-in goalkeeper Hilario.
Hilario came in for heavy criticism after the defeat against Manchester City but the Portuguese goalkeeper is expected to face Stoke in the FA Cup quarter-final tomorrow as Petr Cech has a knee injury.
Wilkins, however, leapt to Hilario’s defence, saying: “He is an experienced player and he won’t have a problem.
“Unfortunately things didn’t go quite right for him last Saturday.
“Supporters nowadays will always have a pop at the errors and as a keeper you make a ricket and you’ve lost a goal.”
