Chelsea No1 Cech: Terry showed character with Burnley winner

Petr Cech praised Chelsea captain John Terry after their victory over Burnley.

It was Terry who managed the winner at Turf Moor on Saturday after 24 hours of details about his private life being made public.

At the final whistle, Burnley striker Steven Fletcher was first to shake his hand, then there was a hug from Branislav Ivanovic. Keeper Cech, who had walked out of the tunnel at his captain’s shoulder, raced to embrace him.

"He showed a lot of character because it was not an easy situation for him," said Cech. "He’s been brilliant and got the winner, which is even better for him."

Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou will return after Africa Cup of Nations duty, although Chelsea have won all five games in January without them, scoring 19 goals.

Cech told the Daily Mail: "Now we have the games coming up fast. We have to take advantage of it and we’ve got a game in hand at Hull. If we win that one we’ll open up a gap at the top. We have to keep winning, and if the others start dropping points it’s the best scenario for us."

Alright, whatever brother. You must be Mr Terry himself. The truth will be out soon anyway.

Mr rubbish, I hope you know whom you are writing to,'Mr football', In 1946,1971 and 1994 Daniel Strude,O'Neil Borh and Thomas Richardson(UK,Germany,US) were respectively maliciously accused of sleeping with their teamates' wives.Later on they were found spotless, and a ban was lifted on them when their main accusers confessed that it was a blackmail. So my brother look before you leap. Also remember the respect MrTherry commands, people might cook up some stories to soil his name.

i cant believe england has such an ars.e hole as their national team captain. jt is a typical muthafu.cker
