Chelsea legend Desailly: Terry has lost the dressing room
Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly believes John Terry has lost the dressing room.
Desailly claims the likes of Frank Lampard and Joe Cole “no longer allow him to be the leader” and as a result his form has seriously suffered, which has been evident against Inter Milan and Manchester City.
The French legend told The Sun: “The whole squad is affected and has big problems. It will be a hard end to the season.
“Knowing John Terry well, I know why he is not playing the way he normally does. He was catastrophic against Inter Milan.
“You have to understand that John is a born leader and captain of this Chelsea side since 2004. Now he has no credibility whatsoever within the club and this is being felt.
“No one is following him. Lampard, Joe Cole and the others who knew Wayne Bridge no longer allow him to be the leader.”
