Chelsea fullback Van Aanholt enjoying Newcastle stay

Chelsea fullback Patrick van Aanholt is enjoying his loan at Newcastle United.

The Dutchman could soon be recalled by Chelsea after the injury suffered by Ashley Cole.

Van Aanholt told the Evening Chronicle: “The boys have been looking after me – Besty, Fitz and mostly Tim Krul. He’s Dutch as well, and he’s like a brother for me.

“They’ve looked after me very well, and I’m enjoying my time at Newcastle.”
