Chelsea forced to shelve plans for Seattle Sounders star Ljungberg

Chelsea have seen plans to sign Seattle Sounders star Freddie Ljungberg wrecked by FIFA's transfer ban.
The Sun says Chelsea wanted Ljungberg as cover for the African Nations Cup but their transfer ban has blocked the move.
Former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Ljungberg is making himself available for loan back to Europe at the end of the MLS season.

I am American and obviously whoever runs this site or at least this story knows nothing about football.
