Chelsea defender Bruma happy to stick with FA Youth Cup teammates

Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma has revealed his commitment to his FA Youth Cup teammates.

The young Dutchman is on the fringes of the first team, but that hasn't prevented him from featuring in the Cup semis against Blackburn Rovers.

Bruma sat on the bench for last week's game against Inter Milan before heading north for the FA Youth Cup clash less than 24 hours later.

"Everybody knows each other's abilities and we are aware of each other's weaknesses, so we cover each other well," he told chelseafc.com.

"I was told the day before the Champions League game that if I didn't play in it I was going to go to the Youth Cup, so I got into a taxi and went all the way to Blackburn to join the team and the next day played. It was good."
