Chelsea captain John Terry is ready for his showdown with Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

Terry will come up against Arsenal's new striker Marouane Chamakh and the defender knows he is in for a difficult game. Chamakh was in the Bordeaux side that played Chelsea in the 2008/9 Champions League group stages and that went on to win the French title.

"He was really impressive when we played against him and before those games, a few of our French guys mentioned how good he was," said Terry.

"I am not surprised to be seeing him playing for a top side now, but going forward Arsenal have always provided a threat. Defensively, hopefully we can get at them and score goals. They have been leaking a few of late."
