Chelsea calm over Man Utd Bosman push for Cole

Chelsea aren't concerned over reports Joe Cole is a Bosman target for Manchester United.

The Independent says the Blues, while not publicly commenting on the suggestion that Cole will head for Old Trafford in the summer, were bullish enough to privately dismiss the prospect as nothing more than speculation.

However, the longer Cole does not resolve his contract impasse with Chelsea, the more feverish the transfer speculation will become.

Talks on a new deal for Cole have dragged on for weeks and are no nearer being concluded.

Joe Cole should go. He cannot meet with the demand at Chelsea again. If Chelsea wants to remain a big club, some players need to go. The midfield needs to be strengthened in the summer. Look at what Valencia is doing in Manchester United. A player that was bought cheap from Wigan. babel in Liverpool is the sort of player Chelsea should be looking for. He is versatile, a striker that can play from the middle, right and left sides of the midfield. He is quick and strong. he is a lot better than Joe Cole and Kalou. kalou is more versatile than Joe Cole and moreover his performance has not een something to write home about nowadays. The midfield should be strengthened in the summer. Some players dont give their all. This includes Frank Lampard. Other players work for frank. he gets the glory because he plays al matches, plays all penalties, wants to play all freekicks but canot mark and does not work hard like others in the midfield hence the pressure on the back four. Mikel is there because no other defensive midfielder is availale when Essien is not available. ballack is even better in that position than him. Chelsea should be looking for a world class PLAYMAKER in the summer. There is none at the moment that can be performing the magic to turn around games when things are not going on fine for the team. We struggle too much with small things because they go all out to play us and win when we play the big ones because they are always cautious when playing us.
