Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has played down talk of a move for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.

Chelsea have also been linked with Liverpool's World Cup winner Torres this summer with the club reportedly mulling over a whopping £50million offer.

However, Ancelotti has hinted he will not strengthen his forward line during the close season as they have the likes of Nicolas Anelka, Salomon Kalou and Daniel Sturridge to complement Didier Drogba.

He said: "I don't think we need other strikers - nothing has changed because in the next days come back Drogba, Anelka and Kalou and we have Sturridge."
