Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists Didier Drogba will be staying.

The Ivory Coast hitman has just turned 32, the same as the number of goals he has scored this season, but Ancelotti believes he can be a force well into his 30s.

The Italian won the Champions League with an AC Milan side full of thirtysomethings such as Paolo Maldini.

Ancelotti said: “Last year Didier had a problem because he was not able to train every day but this year he has trained continuously and is in very good physical condition.

“Didier will stay because he has a good relationship with everyone.”
