Chelsea boss Ancelotti: I feel at home in best league in world

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti says he feels "at home" in London after winning the Premiership at first attempt.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti says he feels "at home" in London after winning the Premiership at first attempt.

The Blues beat Wigan 8-0 on Sunday to secure the title in the Italian's first season in charge.

He told La Repubblica newspaper: "I feel right at home in London. It's a question of the atmosphere with regards to games, an absence of pressure and of the involvement of the people.

"I believe, it is the best football in the world."

Ancelotti, who coached 13 years in Serie A, including eight at AC Milan before moving to Chelsea last summer, believes Italian football has a lot to learn from English football.

He believes managers in England are more respectful of referees and opponents than in his homeland.

"If I created controversies after a game here, they would look at me as if I was a Martian," he said. "I hope Italy can reach the same sporting culture that we have here."
