Carlo Ancelotti is of firm belief that his side is in control of their qualification from Group F in the Champions League.

The Blues did enough to get past French club Marseille and grab their second win of the group phase with a 2-0 result thanks to goals from John Terry and Nicolas Anelka.

That victory followed on from their opening day win over MSK Zilina and Ancelotti feels they are in control of things with a maximum six points.

“I think we're in control of our qualification. This victory was a good step," said the Chelsea manager.

"We have four more matches to play and the next two against Spartak Moscow will be important.

"There is a good possibility that we'll finish in first place."
