Chelsea boss Ancelotti convinced Roma will sell Mexes

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is moving for Roma defender Philippe Mexes.

The Sun says Roma are willing to do business for the centre-back at around £12million.

Boss Ancelotti, a former Roma player, knows the Italians need to cash in after failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Frenchman Mexes, 27, has been one of Italy's top defensive imports since he signed from Auxerre in 2004 for £5m.

And he fits into Ancelotti's plans after Ricardo Carvalho made it clear he wants out of Stamford Bridge.

Just thought you might want to know....

Lets start the spending! We need to get some new young players in the squad, lets get Kun Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Alex Pato, Yuri Zuirkov, two defenders like Mexes of Roma and the AZ Alkmaar forward/Midfielder Demeble and we could do with a young talented goalkeeper to put pressure on Cech also. Let a few go like Deco, Carvalho, Belletti, Shevchenko, Pizarro, and maybe let Drogba leave as well, Ferreira and let Franco Di Santo go out on loan to get some expirenece. We need to start moving for our targets now! To make sure that we have a chance of getting them.

YES MEXES AND TERRY WOT STRENGTH
