Chelsea boss Ancelotti attempting to convince Abramovich about Pirlo

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti spent yesterday trying to convince Blues owner Roman Abramovich about the quality of AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

Corriere dello Sport says the pair met on Abramovich's yacht docked in Nice and the Russian made it clear to Ancelotti he was lukewarm on the prospect of moving for 30 year-old Pirlo.

Ancelotti is urging Abramovich to rethink his stand and used Gianfranco Zola as an example of how Pirlo could transform Chelsea's play for years to come.

I tink we should adopt a transfer policy dat prohibits d purchase of 30yr olds. Dnt we ever learn EG Sheva Deco Belleti Ballack who hv all performd below standard. Premiership has a way of consumin old legs bcuz dey cnt edit their style of play& run which is essential 4 EPL players. I hv no doubt dat Pirlo wil go down d same road if we sign him, go for Pato he is stil learnin so he cn stil adapt easily.

If he compared Pirlo to Zola the he is an idiot but i will just refuse to believe this. I dont like Pirlo or Ancelotti anyway but i refuse to believe he is that stupid

ancelloti u f.u.c.k. faced i.d.i.o.t. what the hell is wrong with u.
