Central Coast Mariners too good for Melbourne Victory

Goals to Rostyn Griffiths and Daniel McBreen have secured a 2-0 win for Central Coast against Melbourne Victory tonight.

Graham Arnold's Mariners overcame a slow start to take control of the match and outplay the visitors, with goals either side of the interval.

Central Coast Mariners 2 (Griffiths 21st, McBreen 50th)
Melbourne Victory 0
Crowd: 6,829 at Bluetongue Stadium

The result takes the Mariners to third on the table whilst the Victory move to 5th with only one win from the opening five rounds.
