French midfielder Sebastien Le Toux scored the game’s only goal in the 23rd minute.

Celtic finished the game with a flourish, having one goal disallowed, then with the last shot of the game a Ben Hutchinson header came back off the crossbar.

New signings Charlie Mulgrew and Joe Ledley both started on the bench for Celtic.
