Celtic legend Moravcik fears for Mowbray job
Celtic legend Lubomir Moravcik fears for manager Tony Mowbray if they finish the season trophyless.
Moravcik believes Mowbray could go the same way as Dr Jo Venglos if Celtic do not win the Scottish Cup.
“It will be very, very difficult to accept no trophies,” he said as he pondered the prospect of Celtic failing in the last competition open to them.
“I remember my first season. We had the same situation. We were behind Rangers and could not catch them. The cup final was the only thing left for us. It was the last chance to satisfy the Celtic fans under Dr Jo. We lost, he moved.”
Moravcik, though, believes Mowbray could survive a cup final defeat but an earlier exit would be catastrophic to the manager’s hopes of continuing rebuilding at Celtic Park.
“It is difficult to stay without success because in the next season you have more pressure. If you win nothing in the first season, it is hard.”

if u ask someone to take part in a marathon at least let them finish it
there rebuilding for the future but i wud seriously either give him 3 years to make his team which they invested in heavily so why would they sack him now also if he feels that its not going right as some jobs do then he should move on
also mark hughes would be the man to steer them in the right direction
