Cartagena wing-back Lafuente welcomes Athletic Bilbao interest

Cartagena wing-back Ander Lafuente is being watched by Athletic Bilbao.

Lafuente is a former Bilbao junior and admits he welcomes the interest of his old club.

"I know that Bilbao scouts are watching me," he said. "For me, like anyone from the Basque country, it's great.

"Of course they're interested in me. I'm from the land, I am playing for the leaders of the Segunda Liga and I fit into their transfer philosophy. But for now, I have not heard anything."
