Capello says Chelsea form not good enough for Joe Cole

Fabio Capello says Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole's form hasn't been good enough to warrant an England recall.

Capello defended the omission of the Chelsea winger from his squad this week.

He said: "I saw a lot of the games Joe played after injury. He played so-so.

"The last game he played very well. He needs to play more games like that and if he does he will be here, probably."
