Capello retains trust in Chelsea’s Terry

England manager Fabio Capello admits he has still has complete trust in national team captain John Terry despite allegations of an affair with a teammates partner.

News has emerged that the Chelsea skipper had an affair with his former Blues teammate Wayne Bridge’s former girlfriend, model Vanessa Perroncel, but Capello says nothing changes in regards to his role as England leader.

"John has his private life and he has to control his private life," he said. "I have to control my team. He is a player in my team. He is the captain of this team and I am honoured and very proud to manage John Terry.

"He's the captain and he will be the captain. The players have never lost trust in him.

"I think not only the players, but the management and everyone at the club support him and his family."

Terry responded well to the controversy by scoring the winner for Chelsea against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

If you do not distinguish between private life and official issues, you can make such silly commments about JT. England has never performed well as before and this should be attributed to JT and the new Coach. If England makes the mistake of replacing JT with some of the unkwown characters let them forget the World Cup

utter bs he should not be captain of a national team any other country would have sacked him , english fa need to grow a pair and stamp this behavior out not tell the kids its ok to be a piece of shit u can still be england captain we are all class here.....
