Capello remains hopeful of U-turn from Man City fullback Bridge

England coach Fabio Capello remains hopeful of a U-turn from Manchester City fullback Wayne Bridge.

Capello has told Bridge that the door is still open, after the Manchester City star ruled himself out of contention following John Terry's affair with his ex-partner.

The Italian said: "There is still time for Wayne but the whole issue remains very heated and recent."
