Capello: Chelsea’s Cole not what he once was
England boss Fabio Capello admits he's disappointed with the form of Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole.
Cole has finally fought his way back into the Blues reckoning after sustaining a long term knee injury that kept him on the sidelines.
Cole played in yesterday’s 4-2 defeat by Manchester City at Stamford Bridge and was watched again by the England coach, who can hardly have been impressed by his performance.
Capello said: “Every game that Joe plays we either watch live in the stadium or view on television. But there are some problems for him.
“He’s not back like the player I remember.”
Cole, 28, has not been written off yet though for the finals in South Africa.
Capello added: “We have to wait. Possibly he will improve over the last two months.”

The real problem with him is that he lacks support in a midfield now ravaged by injuries and deception: Essien, Deco, Zhirkov all injured and esp. that useless German captain.
Can we have some more fashionable anti-Chelsea headlines please. I just dont think theres enough, seeing as we are the anti-christ (pantomime baddies).
I believe he will improve with time,d injury i think s still affecting him
