Caparros joins Bilbao fans in condemning Barcelona star Iniesta

Athletic Bilbao coach Joaquin Caparros has joined fans in condemning Andres Iniesta for getting Fernando Amorebieta sent off on Saturday.

Barcelona star Iniesta was booed incessantly by Bilbao fans for his role in Amorebieta's dismissal.

"I'll leave the question of the sending off," said Caparros. "I'll have to see it. If it was a red card, the player will own up, but the fans are very wise and if 40,000 people have whistled Iniesta, then that means something ..."

Barca coach Pep Guardiola was forced to substitute Iniesta late on due to the constant jeers from Bilbao fans during the win.
