Calderwood praises Hibernian players

Hibernian's new boss Colin Calderwood has been impressed with his players' attitude and application since his arrival.

The former Newcastle United assistant was named the club's new man at the helm this week, succeeding John Hughes.

"They look as if they are a willing lot and want to take on board what the coaching staff are saying," he told Sky Sports.

"I've not seen anything that's made me raise my eyebrows or anything like that.

"I think you're going to get it with a new manager and coaching staff coming in.

"You're going to have a fairly good and open reaction and that's what I've seen so far. It's been quite impressive actually."
