Cagliari are lining up to bring David Suazo back to the club from Inter Milan.

A loan deal is on the cards for the Honduras international, who has seen the trail to Roma go cold since the departure of Luciano Spalletti.

"Suazo is a special case, for him the doors are always open," declared Cagliari president Massimo Cellino.
