Byun Sung-Hwan hopes for success at Sydney FC

Experienced South Korea fullback Byun Sung-Hwan is confident he can cut it in the A-League.

Byun has joined Sydney FC from the K-League's Jeju United and said: "I came here a few weeks ago for a trial and stayed for a week to train with the team. I like the style of football and what the coach wants to do. It suits me.

"I was also looking to my future. I discussed it with my wife and it (Sydney) sounded exciting. We will both improve our English, too.''
